The 23rd Floor Event Center announced two staff changes. Ruthann Sanders was named event director. Sanders previously served as assistant to the general manager of the event center. Casi Christoffersen Blanchard was named general manager. Blanchard is a graduate of Dixie College and joined the 23rd Floor team as event director in 2003.
John Herbert was named interim director of the University of Utah Press, administered by the J. Willard Marriott Library at the U. Herbert joined the library in January 2003 as manager of its Utah Digital Newspaper program. He is a graduate of the University of Kansas and the U.
For Every Body, a Lindon-based candle manufacturer, has named Paul Anderson as chief executive officer. He succeeds Becky Lunceford, who will serve as the company's founder, owner and chairwoman. Anderson will lead the company's day-to-day operations.
The Utah Optometric Association announced several new officials. Michael M. Judkins will serve as executive vice president. A graduate of Pacific University's College of Optometry, Judkins practices in South Ogden but also provides care in Davis, Box Elder and Salt Lake counties. Patricia Ann Beaty was named president. She is currently a visiting lecturer at Brigham Young University. Dale Hardy and Dr. Karri Buresh will serve as trustees.
