Red Butte Garden is holding a bulb and native plant sale Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Look for a great selection of spring-flowering bulbs and a wide selection of native plants.

David Salman, chief horticulturist and president of High Country Gardens and an expert in water-wise plants, will speak about creating a Western garden at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Wesminster College's Vieve Gore Concert Hall, 1840 S. 1300 East.
