I agree with Eric Samuelson ("My View," Sept. 11). I would urge Chris Heimerdinger ("My View," Sept. 4) to see "States of Grace," not to change his opinion of LDS filmmaking, but to see a most-skilled presentation of the wonder of the Atonement for LDS and non-LDS alike. My wife and I made a special effort to see the film, and it was worth it. I can't figure out what could be inherently offensive unless it is that LDS people don't want to have sins that LDS commit presented on film. Richard Dutcher's understanding of LDS doctrine and grace and his ability to show this in the lives of five people will amaze you.
