Boeing said Thursday it has selected Goodrich Corp. to provide landing gear maintenance for the U.S. Air Force's fleet of C-17 aircraft.
The contract is expected to generate up to $38 million in sales over the next three years.
The contract calls for Goodrich and the Air Logistics Center at Hill Air Force Base to share the workload. The center manages all of the Air Force's landing gear maintenance requirements, and Goodrich is the original equipment manufacturer of most of the Air Force's landing gear systems.
