The law firm of Parr Waddoups Brown Gee & Loveless announced that attorney Daniel A. Jensen was elected an executive committee member-at-large for the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation for 2006-07. Jensen, a natural resources attorney at Parr Waddoups, also serves as trustee-at-large for the foundation.
The law firm of Stoel Rives announced the addition of five new associates at its Salt Lake office. Mark Astling has joined the firm's business services group as an associate. Astling's practice focuses primarily on federal, state and local tax issues for corporate and pass-through entities and individuals. Yury Colton joined the firm as an associate in Stoel Rives' technology and intellectual property group. Colton specializes in U.S. and foreign patent preparation and prosecution. An associate with the firm's wealth management group, Michael Garrett specializes in estate planning, estate and trust administration, federal and state taxation and general business and corporate law matters. Jeramy Green, an associate in the firm's real estate practice group, focuses his practice on real property development, finance, transfer and land use. Scott Hansen, an associate in Stoel Rives' litigation group, specializes in matters involving product liability, employment, energy, accounting, antitrust and general commercial litigation.
Architectural Nexus, a Salt Lake-based architectural firm, announced the promotion of four professionals to associate. Jeffery Davis specializes in higher education and performing arts facilities. He has 13 years of experience in the industry. Brian Cassil has more than 10 years of experience in the visualization/3-D computer rendering field. He joined the firm in 1998. Julie Berreth has more than 20 years of experience working as an architect. She specializes in management of large-scale commercial office projects and design-build work. Robb T. Harrop has been with Architectural Nexus since 1998, utilizing both 3-D computer modeling and traditional design approaches in the design process.
Andy Toolson has joined Cambria Capital as vice president and financial consultant for the firm's Salt Lake office. Cambria Capital is a boutique investment banking and wealth management firm.
