About the Bruins: UCLA is coming off a 10-win season in 2005, including a Sun Bowl victory, and was picked to finish fifth in the Pac-10 by the media. Former BYU quarterback Ben Olson replaces Drew Olson, who threw 34 touchdown passes last season. UCLA is 7-0 all-time vs. Utah, with the last game being played in 1974.

About the Wildcats: Arizona hasn't faced the Cougars since 1977, the Wildcats' final season in the WAC. The Wildcats' starting quarterback is sophomore Willie Tuitama, who started the final four games of last season.

About the Cowboys: Wyoming has a .739 winning percentage (49-17-1) in season-openers at home. Junior Jacob Doss, who threw just 13 passes last year, will take over at quarterback. After starting the season 4-1 in 2005, the Cowboys lost their final six games.
