Cincinnati-based Convergys Corp. said Monday it is recruiting for 220 positions at its Salt Lake call center, 995 W. Levoy Drive, to handle customer service demands for DirecTV.
The new workers will be added by the beginning of September, the company said. Details are available by calling 1-888-484-HIRE or going online to www.convergys.greatjob.net.
Convergys has provided customer care services for DirecTV since it launched its digital television programming service in 1994.
Convergys has more than 7,000 employees in Utah, including more than 3,000 in Salt Lake City. It has more than 65,000 employees worldwide.
