LOS ANGELES The Disney Channel's TV movie "High School Musical" won two awards at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, presented Saturday as a prelude to Sunday's main awards.
"Musical" was named outstanding children's program (in a tie with HBO's "I Have Tourette's but Tourette's Doesn't Have Me") and was honored for choreography.
The creative arts awards recognized technical and other achievements for the 2005-06 season. The ceremony, hosted by the comedy duo Penn & Teller, will air as a two-hour special on the E! channel Saturday at 9 p.m.
