Airplane manufacturer Adam Aircraft said Tuesday it has completed a $93 million funding round.
The company, based in Englewood, Colo., and with a manufacturing facility in Ogden, said the funds would be used to quicken the certification of its A700 AdamJet and the production ramp-up of its A500 twin-engine piston plane.
New investor DCM led the round and was joined by new investors including Mesirow Financial, W Capital Partners, D.E. Shaw Laminar Portfolios LLC, Acadia Woods Partners and various European investors. They joined previous investors Goldman Sachs and Hunt Growth Capital in the round.
