Isn't it enough to listen to radio and TV personalities consistently ignore the rules of predicate nominative and object of a preposition? Now we have a school principal ungrammatically telling your reporter that "a student was riding their Heelys and fell back and broke their arm" (Aug. 21). I suspect this is a case of falling over backward to avoid gender, but is this a guy we want teaching our children?
