JAXON MYAER, Judge Memorial: The Bulldogs are expected to contend for the Region 10 crown this year, and this senior quarterback is a big reason why.

In a season-opening 40-21 victory over North Sanpete last weekend, Myaer passed for three touchdowns and rushed for two more.

"His competition quotient is so much higher than most high school kids," said Judge coach James Cordova during the preseason. "He wants to win, and he brings that with him. He brings excitement. He brings energy. He's great that way."

Myaer was the starting point guard on Judge's state championship basketball team last year.

MEGAN OHAI, Alta: This talented forward is a two-time first-team all-state selection and looking to make it a third. She is already near the top in scoring with six goals in four games, tops on a talented Alta team.

"She is one of our leaders, and we are looking to get a lot of goals from her," said Alta coach Lee Mitchell. "She leads by what she does on the field. The players feed off her energy and what she can create out there."

Ohai has played at levels as high as the U.S. National Team and has committed to USC for next season. She has done all that and still found time for her studies as she is always on the honor roll.
