Meet '06 Cougars on Thursday
Greet the football, soccer, volleyball, cross country teams
PROVO Fans can meet the 2006 Cougar football team at the third annual Deseret Morning News Cougar Kickoff, 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at Haws Field, just west of the Indoor Practice Facility.
Fans also will have the opportunity to meet the BYU women's soccer, women's volleyball and cross country teams, along with the 2006 Cheer Squad and Cosmo. Deseret Morning News columnists and BYU writers will be at the event.
There will be interactive games and activities for fans of all ages. There will also be 2006 posters available, and autograph opportunities. Fans can hear from several coaches, including head football coach Bronco Mendenhall.
Legacy Hall will be open in the Student Athlete Building. It features the BYU Athletic Hall of Fame, significant national awards, All-Americans and highlights from various sports.
The event is free. Park north of the Cougar Kickoff field.
