OREM Orem was recently ranked 38th in the Top 100 Best Places to Live by CNN's Money Magazine.
To create the list, CNN surveyors ranked qualifying cities using 38 quality-of-life factors and six economic factors.
Categories included ease of living, health, education, crime, park space and arts and leisure, according to the CNN Money Web site.
Fort Collins, Colo., won the No. 1 spot.
Layton the only other ranked Utah city earned spot No. 41.
Provo also found its way onto a 2006 CNN list as the second-youngest city, with a median age of 23.28, just behind Jacksonville, N.C., at 22.90.
West Jordan was No. 6, with a median age of 25.04 and Orem followed close behind with its median age of 25.06.
Layton was No. 19, with 26.64 and West Valley City finished the list as No. 25 with a median age of 26.99.
CNN gathered its data from OnBoard LLC., a real estate information company, and the U.S. Census.
