Chapters in Young's life

The Student: A high school quarterback in Connecticut, Steve Young joined the BYU football team in the early '80s.


The Quarterback: A good game for Young in Southern California � a BYU victory over UCLA.


The Grad: Young graduates from BYU law school in 1994. He earned his degree between NFL seasons.


The Star: Young, the San Francisco 49ers quarterback, readies for a pass during the American Bowl at the Tokyo Dome in August 1995.


�The Gimmick�:Young signs the jersey of Mikhail Bellini at the Steve Young Ski Classic at Snowbird in March. Young's Forever Young Foundation raises money for children's charities through donations and golf and ski events.
