The Salt Palace expansion, which added 145,000 square feet of exhibit space and 72,000 square feet of meeting room space, included:
More than 26,000 cubic yards of concrete enough to pour a sidewalk from Salt Lake City to Wendover, Nev.
4,605 tons of steel enough to build more than 3,500 Honda Civics.
More than 15,000 square feet of glass that equates to approximately 35,000 wine glasses.
14,000 square feet of carpet, enough to carpet Rice Eccles Stadium two times.
