BRYCE CANYON RUN & WALK

The 22nd annual Bryce Canyon Rim Run and Walk will be held on Aug. 26.

The race will start at 9 a.m. at Ruby's Inn, located just outside Bryce Canyon National Park. The 5-mile trail run/walk winds through meadows, forests and along the rim of Bryce Canyon and is considered one of Utah's most scenic race events.

This year's race is special, said Jean Seiler with Ruby's Inn, since it is the 90th anniversary.

Registration is $20 if postmarked by Aug. 12, and $25 after. Participants may register at Ruby's Inn the evening before the race from 6-8 p.m. or from 7-8:30 a.m. on race day. An entry form may be downloaded at www.rubysinn.com/run.html. Online registration is available at www.Runnercard.com.

The fee includes a T-shirt, post-race lunch, entertainment, awards, random prizes and a ticket for free admission to the Bryce Canyon Country Rodeo.
