Alpine House, which serves as a transitional home for residents to learn how to live on their own and find jobs in the community, needs volunteers to help prepare and cook meals for 15-20 residents. Community Nursing Services and Hospice Services is a home, house and hospice agency looking for volunteers to help with office tasks and clerical work. Help is needed only once or twice each week. The Family Center of Utah Valley/Parent Information Resource Center needs volunteers to help with young children. Volunteers can help with the mother/child interactive group by doing art, music, story time or preparing workshops for the children. The interactive group meets Wednesday morning in English and Thursday morning in Spanish, but help is also needed on other days in the lending library. Hours are extremely flexible. The Trinity Mission Health and Rehab is looking for a volunteer who is willing to come once a week and paint the fingernails of the female residents.
