Hot-rod and muscle-car enthusiasts will participate in a charity ride on Sunday to raise money for the family of murdered 5-year-old Destiny Norton.
Rides begin at the Layton Wal-Mart at 3 p.m. and at 4401 S. State in Murray at 4 p.m. The event ends at Liberty Park. Funds raised from the charity ride will go into a fund set up for the Norton family at Washington Mutual.
Destiny Norton disappeared from her back yard July 16, prompting a massive volunteer search. She was found dead in the basement of an apartment just two doors away.
Craig Roger Gregerson, 20, has been charged with aggravated murder and child kidnapping in connection with her death.
