The 30th Annual Railroader's Festival is Aug. 12 at Golden Spike National Historic Site. Festivities will include the arrival of the replica steam locomotives Jupiter and No. 119 at 9:30 a.m. and re-enactments of the Last Spike Ceremony at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Visitors can also participate in a variety of activities and see a 1950s-era rail motor car, which was used to transport workers along the rails.
Admission and activities are free. Golden Spike National Historic Site is located 32 miles west of Brigham City via State Highway 13 and 83.
