Many of the cars that will be racing will be unfamiliar with even the most ardent of race fans. One of the featured cars will the Larry Miller's Ford GT40 MKII 427.
This is the same car that won the vintage division of Le Mans.
To keep competition close, cars are generally grouped according to type and engine size for racing.
Those fans with vintage vehicles 1970s and older will have the opportunity to display their cars in the Golden Goldies Corral on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
