PROVO A wide variety of styles, media and artists are anticipated at the Utah Valley Artist Guild summer show at the Terra Nova Art Gallery.
The exhibit will be on display through Aug. 25.
The Utah Valley Artist Guild is the first general artist association in this area, welcoming artists of all ability levels, gallery owner David Hawkinson said.
"Among their current and past members are many of the area's leading artists. The goal of the guild is to educate artists and promote their work through workshops, exhibits, sales and meetings with established artists. Recent guests at meetings have included James Christensen, Greg Olsen and Kirk Richards," he said.
For many years the guild met in the studio area above Provo Art and Frame but recently moved to the meeting room opposite the Woodbury Gallery operated by Utah Valley State College in University Mall. Meetings are the last Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m.
