"(The show) was very successful," she said. "It's a great feeling to have our family pitch in when we needed it so badly."
Wawrzyniak makes soap about four days a week. She can make up to 30 loaves of soap in a day and gets eight slices of soap from one loaf. Her soaps run from $6-7 per slice. She also sells lotions, gift baskets and an exfoliating Great Salt Lake scrub. Her products and more information are available on www.thesoaplady.net.
Wawrzyniak loves watching people's reactions to the soap.
"I enjoy people (and) . . . watching them smile," she said. "My family is lucky because the community embraced us in such a positive way."
