Register now for Ability Center programs

The National Ability Center in Park City has opened registration for its fall programs.

The programs include:

Adventure Learning: Custom programs from two hours to two weeks. May include utilization of the low-challenge course, high-challenge course and/or indoor climbing wall. Many other activities offered. Programs may be delivered on-site or off-site, any season and can include overnights. Call Julie Davis 435-649-3991 ext. 615.

Aquatics: Taught at Ecker Hill Aquatic Center on Mondays from 5:15 to 6 p.m. Sessions start Sept. 11, Oct. 9, Nov. 13. Cost from $20 to $25.

Canoeing: Classes at Rockcliff Recreation Center on Tuesdays hourly from noon to 6 p.m. Classes start Sept. 5. Cost is $3 per hour, plus $9 per car entry fee to state park.

Creative Movement: Classes at Recreation Center and Ranch on Tuesdays from 5 to 5:45 p.m. Classes start Sept. 5. Cost is $1 per night or $14 per session.

Climbing Wall: Classes at Recreation Center and Ranch on Saturdays from 9 to 11 a.m. Classes start Sept. 9. Cost is $10. Private lessons available.

Cycling: Classes at Recreation Center and Ranch. Times are as follows: beginner — Mondays 5:30-7:30 p.m.; advanced — Tuesdays 5:30-7:30 p.m. Sessions begin Sept. 5 for advanced; Sept. 11 beginners. Cost is $7 per ride. Private lessons available.

Horseback Riding: Classes at Recreation Center and Ranch, Mondays through Saturdays. Classes start Sept. 5. Call for costs. Register online at www.nac1985.org.

Hippotherapy: Classes at Recreation Center and Ranch on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Cost $150 for evaluation, $75 per one-hour lesson. Register online at www.nac1985.org.

Outdoor Education: Classes in Moab from Sept. 14-17.

Cost is $45 for children 7 and under and $90 for those 7 years and up.

Quad Rugby Clinic: Classes in Park City Aug. 4-6, taught by U.S. team coach. Cost $100 and includes food.

Sled Hockey: Classes at Park City Ice Arena on Saturdays from 10 to 11:30 a.m. First session starts Aug. 26. Cost $7 per lesson, $80 per session.
