Legal status of the possible players in the Kiplyn Davis case

Timmy Brent Olsen, 28

Found guilty by a jury Wednesday on 15 counts of perjury and lying to a federal officer. Olsen faces a potential 75 years in prison when sentenced on Sept. 29. Olsen also faces a murder trial in early 2007 in state court in Davis' slaying.


David Rucker Leifson, 29

A former friend of Olsen's who has been implicated by Olsen in Davis' disappearance and murder through statements made to others. Leifson is charged with six counts of lying to a federal grand jury and a federal officer. His trial is scheduled for Sept. 11.


Chris Jeppson, 29

A friend of Olsen's who is accused of creating a false alibi for Olsen for the day Davis vanished in May 1995. Jeppson faces nine counts of perjury and lying to a federal agent. His trial is set for Oct. 23.


Garry Blackmore, 26

A former friend who testified against Olsen, saying Olsen confessed to the murder and burying Davis' body up Spanish Fork Canyon. Blackmore has pleaded guilty to two counts of perjury and faces 10 years in prison when he is sentenced Aug. 30.


Scott Brunson, 29

Also a former friend, Brunson testified against Olsen saying Olsen asked him to give a false alibi to police on the day Davis disappeared. Brunson has pleaded guilty to three counts of lying to a federal agent and perjury. He faces 15 years in prison. A sentencing conference has been set for Aug. 7.
