Raptors even with win

The Ogden Raptors evened their series against Helena on Tuesday with a 7-5 win over the Brewers in Helena, Mont.

After falling behind 4-1, Ogden scored five runs in the fourth. Juan Rivera hit a two-out, three-run homer in the inning. Rick Taloa hit a solo homer in the second inning for the Raptors' first run.

Jesus Rodriguez gave up three earned runs in just 3 1/3 innings of work. Paul Coleman (1-0) worked 2 2/3 innings to pick up the victory.

The Raptors and Brewers will play the final game of the series tonight at 7:05 p.m. The Raptors will then play a four-game series at Missoula.

OSPREY 9, OWLZ 8: At Missoula, Mont., Jeff Hester's second home run of the night was a walk-off shot in the bottom of the 10th inning that gave the Missoula Osprey (12-15) a victory over the visiting Orem Owlz. Down 8-7 after eight complete, the Owlz (16-12) capitalized on two Missoula errors in the top half of the ninth to knot the score. The Osprey had the game-winning run on third base with one out in the bottom of the ninth, butcouldn't score. Ryan Mount homered for Orem in the second inning. Owlz designated hitter Darrell Sales hit a two-run single in the fourth inning that capped a four-run rally and put Orem ahead 7-4.
