Sandy, Orem and Layton have all been included this year in the top 100 of Money Magazine's Best Places to Live 2006.

The list, released Monday, ranks Sandy No. 23, Orem No. 38 and Layton No. 41. Factors taken into account in forming the list include education, weather, health, leisure and culture, as well as the quality of life in the cities. The magazine considers air quality, crime rates and commute times in determining a city's quality of life.

All three Utah cities had a higher percentage of married people and a lower median age than the average for all the cities in the magazine's list.

The magazine said Provo had the second-youngest median age among the cities that were evaluated.
