MISSOULA — Despite a pair of home runs from right fielder Luis Rivera, the Orem Owlz (16-11) lost Monday to host Missoula Osprey, 8-4.

After Missoula (11-15) scored one run in each of its first three innings, Rivera hit the first of his home runs leading off the top of the fourth to pull Orem to within a run at 3-2.

The Osprey exploded for four runs in the home half of the fourth to take a commanding 7-2 lead. Orem reliever Brok Butcher, who took over for starting pitcher Leonardo Calderon in the third inning, gave up five hits and two walks in the fateful fourth. Missoula center fielder Tyler Jones singled home John Hester with the rally's first run.

Osbeck Castillo pitched three innings of scoreless relief for the Osprey to earn his first save of the season.

HELENA 6, OGDEN 3: At Helena, the Brewers scored four runs on two hits and one Ogden error in the seventh inning Monday night to post the come-from-behind victory over the Raptors.

Helena trailed 1-0 after four innings, but Ogden took the 3-1 lead in the fifth, thanks in part to a two-run homer by Jeremy Brown.

With the loss, the Raptors fall to 12-15, while the Brewers, who snapped a four-game losing streak, improve to 10-16.
