New seasons have been announced by southern Utah's two biggest summer-theater companies — the Utah Shakespearean Festival and Tuacahn's "Broadway in the Desert" series.

THE 2007 UTAH SHAKESPEAREAN FESTIVAL

— Summer season, June 2-Sept. 1, Randall L. Jones Theatre: world premiere of Brad Carroll and Peter Sham's "Lend Me a Tenor: the Musical," adapted from Ken Ludwig's farce; Thornton Wilder's "The Matchmaker"; George Bernard Shaw's "Candida."

— Summer season, Adams Shakespearean Theatre: "King Lear," "Twelfth Night," "Coriolanis."

— Fall season: "The Tempest," Yasmina Reza's "Art," the musical comedy "Something's Afoot."

TUACAHN AMPHITHEATER, eight miles west of St. George in Ivins, has scheduled "My Fair Lady" during both its summer and fall seasons, with "Annie" in the summer and "42nd Street" in the fall. "Seussical the Musical" will play during the summer in Tuacahn's indoor Hafen Theatre.
