Professor to speak at BYU forum on Tuesday

PROVO — Daniel K. Judd, Brigham Young University professor of ancient scripture, will be the Brigham Young University forum speaker Tuesday at 11:05 a.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall. Judd will speak on "Religion, Mental Health and the Latter-day Saints."

Judd has served as chairman of the department of ancient scripture. He is also the author and editor of several books and articles in the fields of religion, marriage and family relationships and psychology.

In 1980, Judd received undergraduate degrees in zoology and chemistry from Southern Utah University. He earned a master's degree in family science and a doctoral degree in counseling psychology at BYU.

Live broadcasts will be available on KBYU-TV Channel 11, BYU Television, KBYU-FM 89.1, BYU Radio and byubroadcasting.org, as well as on campus in the Joseph Smith Building Auditorium, F-201 Harris Fine Arts Center and the Varsity Theater in the Wilkinson Student Center.
