PROVO The 38th annual Family History and Genealogy Conference will be Aug. 1-4 at the Brigham Young University Conference Center.
The theme for the conference will be "Strengthening Ties That Bind Families Together Forever."
Keynote speakers will include Elder Marlin K. Jensen, a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy and church historian and recorder for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, as well as Jay L. Verkler, associate managing director of the Family and Church History Department.
More than 100 classes will be offered for beginning, intermediate and advanced researchers. Class topics include "What's New on FamilySearch.org," "Organizing with the Experts," "Family Organizations in the 21st Century" and "Attracting Youth to Family History."
