A delegation of ambassadors and trade representatives from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations will visit Utah next week.
As part of their Tuesday-through-Thursday visit, Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr. will have a business conference Wednesday at the Grand America Hotel. Huntsman and delegation members will speak about business opportunities in each of the countries. One-on-one meetings will be available for Utah businesses to meet directly with the ambassadors and/or trade representatives.
Registration is $25 and available online at vrs.verite.com/goed/index.cfm?action=register&event_id=263&lcode=enu. Businesses wanting to participate in the one-on-one meetings may contact Justin Hansen at jchansen@utah.gov.
The association includes Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
