Fatalities in Utah this year are already slightly up over the first six months of last year, despite a "Zero Fatalities" UDOT advertising campaign.

• 115 fatalities through June 30

2005

• 113 fatalities through June 30

• 282 total fatalities for the year

• 208 fatalities due to improper restraint

• 77 speed-related fatalities

• 25 fatigue-related fatalities
