Arthritis hinders the lives of millions of Americans but did you know that one out of every four adults dogs is affected by it, too?
The nonprofit Arthritis Foundation recognizes that walking can help both humans and dogs manage arthritis. Dog owners are invited to participate in the annual Arthritis Walk on Saturday at Historic Wheeler Farm, 6351 S. 900 East, beginning at 10 a.m. Walkers will receive Pfizer "Golden Leash" premiums including T-shirts, car magnets and lapel pins. The walk will conclude with a dog-friendly health fair providing more information about canine arthritis. For more information visit www.Arthritis.org.
