Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr., with the consent of the state Senate, has appointed Robert McMullin and Andrew Riggle to serve on the Utah Committee of Consumer Services.
Their four-year terms begin July 1.
McMullin, who replaces Kent Bateman, is president of McMullin Orchards Inc., based in Salem.
Riggle, who replaced Ryan Atkinson, is currently employed by the Utah Developmental Disabilities Council.
The six-member consumer committee was created in 1977 to represent the interests of consumers and small-business owners in utility rate cases before the Utah Public Service Commission.
