The deadline for nominations for the Salt Lake Chamber's 2006 Athena Business Leader of the Year Award and Pathfinder Awards is Friday.
Nomination forms are available online at www.saltlakechamber.org. The awards will be presented at the Chamber's Women and Business Conference and Athena Award Luncheon, scheduled for Nov. 15 at The Grand America Hotel.
The Athena award honors an active member of the chamber who has worked on committees and events and who "demonstrates excellence, creativity and initiative in business; provides valuable service by devoting time and energy to improve the quality of life for others in the community; and assists women in reaching their full leadership potential." The Pathfinder awards honor four community leaders who demonstrate excellence, creativity and initiative in business, and who champion women in leadership roles and in the community.
