A hearing before the Utah Public Service Commission over a new pricing mechanism by Questar Gas Co. in how it collects nongas revenues has been moved from June 26 to Sept. 5.
A proposed plan by the Salt Lake-based utility would guarantee that it captures 100 percent of those revenues.
The revenues are tied to customer usage of natural gas. However, as customers conserve, the utility said, it faces a shortfall in revenues to meet its fixed operating costs.
A public witness hearing also will held at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 5 in the commission's main hearing room, No. 426, Heber M. Wells Office Building, 160 E. 300 South.
