There was great irony in the discovery that Tony Yapias was the Democratic supporter of Chris Cannon who attempted to throw dirt at John Jacob in the current congressional campaign. The whole point of Tony Yapias' big Latino protest in Utah was to decry HR4437 the tough immigration reform bill that passed in the U.S. House with the help of Congressman Cannon. Does Cannon tell Yapias' group something different about immigration than he tells Utah's Republican voters? Or is this a case where politics make for strange bedfellows?
