Winner: The Orthopedic Specialty Hospital in Murray should be proud to have five-time Olympic medalist Dr. Eric Heiden as its new medical director. Heiden, a surgeon who was widely recruited by other hospitals, said he thinks Utah could become a gathering place for athletes of all kinds. The hospital provides both treatment and training, using the latest technology the sort of thing Heiden would have loved when he was an active speedskater.
Loser: Police in Sevier County arrested two men last week in connection with stealing campaign signs and banners. One of the suspects is an apparently unhappy former employee of the sheriff who is running for re-election.
