Excavation work on the bridge at the dam at Deer Creek Reservoir has resulted in detours.

Today through Wednesday The Provo Center Street viaduct will be closed for bridge repair and paving operations. Motorists will be diverted along 600 South between 900 West and 1600 West. Motorists may also use 800 North to Geneva Road as an alternate route. Moderate to heavy travel delays are expected during morning and afternoon rush hours.
Sunday through Friday Paving operations on I-15 will restrict traffic to two lanes in alternating directions between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. from the north Springville interchange (Exit 261) to the Main Street interchange in Spanish Fork (Exit 257). Motorists should expect moderate travel delays.
Sunday through Thursday U.S. 189 in Provo Canyon will be closed near Deer Creek Dam between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. for excavation work. Motorists will need to use I-15 or I-80 as a detour.
