The American Lung Association of Utah's 2006 Asthma Walk will beSaturday in Sugarhouse Park. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and the walk starts at 9 a.m.
The annual event, sponsored in Utah by Schering Plough, IHC's Select Health, KSL Radio and Fox 13, is one of 160 American Lung Association walk events nationwide. The funds raised help support local asthma research and education programs.
Participants will walk 2.5 miles around the park and use pledges to raise money for asthma research and to increase awareness of asthma as a chronic lung disease.
