Three men who disappeared and are presumed dead after a plane crash Thursday in Utah Lake remain missing.

Search teams spent most of Sunday searching the lake but found no sign of the men and very little of the plane, said Dennis Harris, public information officer with the Utah County Sheriff's Office. Bad weather hampered search efforts the past two days, and much of the plane still needs to be recovered.

"We really didn't find anything besides some small pieces of the plane," Harris said Sunday night, shortly after the search ended for the day about 9:15 p.m.

The search was planned to resume again this morning. So far, they have invested more than 2,000 man-hours searching more than 16 miles of shoreline. Their boats have also logged more than 500 miles in combing the lake.

Missing since the plane crashed just before midnight Thursday are pilot Blaine Pugmire, 31, of Springville, and passengers Harold "Les" McGuire, 35, of Highland and Ray Hooper, 35, of Mapleton. They were returning from St. George when their plane crashed in stormy weather.
