When you finally break a losing streak, with a shutout on the road no less, you'd like to keep the momentum going.
But even the elements are unkind to the Salt Lake Buzz.Rain put at least a temporary halt to the Buzz's one-game winning streak Thursday night in Calgary as Game 3 of a four-game series was moistured out.
The makeup date will be at Franklin Covey Field in Salt Lake City as part of a doubleheader in mid-August. Cannons officials chose to not have the makeup game Friday because it would have conflicted with the opening of the Calgary Stampede rodeo.
The Buzz (36-40), who broke their five-game road losing string with a 5-0 win over the Cannons, had to wait until noon Friday to seek a second straight win. That game ends one of their worst road trips ever. They are last in the PCL Southern Division, 13 1/2 games out of first and 1/2 game behind Tucson.
