Closed - Independence Day - July 3,4

Parking Meters: Free parking all day Friday and Saturday in downtown Salt Lake City.

Utah Transit Authority: Bus service as usual Friday; no bus service Saturday. State liquor stores: Open normal hours Friday. Closed Saturday.

Federal, state, city and county offices: All offices closed Friday and Saturday.

Banks: All banks will be closed Friday and Saturday, according to the Utah Bankers Association.

Garbage collection: Collection will continue as usual in most cities and counties. The Salt Lake County Landfill will be open. Libraries: Salt Lake City and County libraries will be open normal hours Friday; closed Saturday. School districts: Most closed, except some year-round school. Jordan District students will attend a normal day Friday and will be off Monday; Daivs District students will be off Friday and Monday; Alpine, Granite, Murray, Nebo, Salt Lake city, Provo and Tooele District schools will be closed Friday.
