There will also be daily entertainment Thursday from 5:30 to 8 p.m., Friday from 1 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 1 to 7:30 p.m.

Pre-rodeo entertainment will begin at 7 p.m. nightly, followed by the annual rodeo at 8 p.m. at the West Jordan Rodeo Grounds.

Three large fireworks shows sponsored by the Dannon Co. will follow the rodeo each evening.

On July 4, the festivities will begin with a flag ceremony at 7 a.m. and a 5K run at 8 a.m. The entry fee for the run will be $13, and runners need to sign up at the park entrance on 2200 West at 6:30 a.m.

The local Rotary Club will host a chuckwagon breakfast 7:30 a.m. Saturday in the West Jordan High School parking lot at 8136 S. 2700 West.
