Personnel from the Navajo Police Special Weapons and Tactical Team follow a fresh set of footprints leading to the San Juan River four miles west of Montezuma Creek in Utah. The tracks are believed to belong to Alan "Monte" Pilon and Jason Wayne McVean, who are wanted in connection with the May 29 shooting death of Cortez, Colo., police officer Dale Claxton. "This is the closest we've been since day two or three of the search," Cortez police chief Roy Lane said.
