Creedence concert changed to July 28

The Creedence Clearwater Revisited concert scheduled for Friday, July 3, at The Canyons has been changed to Tuesday, July 28, at 7:30 p.m., a United Concerts press release said.

The Doobie Brothers will also be on the bill as a co-headliner.CCR is famous for the hits "Bad Moon Rising," "Have You Ever Seen the Rain" and "Suzie Q."

The Doobie Brothers made their mark in the '70s with such tunes as "China Grove," "What a Fool Believes," "Long Train Running" and "Black Water."

After a five year haitus during the '80s, the Doobies - as fans call the band - regrouped and released the "Cycles" album. The band's latest album, "Brotherhood," was released in 1991.

All tickets for the former July 3 concert will be honored on July 28. Also, there are still tickets available at all Smith'sTix outlets or by calling 1-800-888-TIXX or 467-TIXX.
