MONTREAL - A commuter plane crash-landed at Mirabel airport near Montreal, killing all 11 people aboard, airport authorities said. The twin-engine plane was based at nearby Dorval airport and was headed to Peterborough, Ontario, authorities said.

KARACHI - Two bombs exploded within 30 minutes of each other in Karachi, injuring 10 people in the port city's third straight day of violence.

SAO PAULO - Three heavily armed men opened fire in a bar, killing 11 people and seriously wounding four, police said. The shootings occurred in the Francisco Morato neighborhood on the outskirts of Sao Paulo while people were celebrating Brazil's 3-0 victory over Morocco in the World Cup.

BONN - The Economic Cooperation and Development Ministry said it has canceled talks with Ethiopia over aid worth tens of millions of marks because of its border conflict with Eritrea.
