• The People Helping People Garden Tour is set for Saturday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. The self-guided tour features several gardens in the Federal Heights area. • Thanksgiving Point in Lehi is sponsoring a series of classes on perennials beginning Tuesday. The classes, which will be taught by Deseret Morning News garden columnist Larry Sagers, will be at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. June 13, 20 and 27. Cost is $40.

• The Utah Botanical Center is sponsoring a series of summer camps full of hands-on fun. They include:

— Owls, Spells and Potions, July 11-14, 9 a.m.-noon, grades 3 and 4

— H20 Adventure, July 18-21, 9 a.m.-noon, grades 5 and 6

— Slimy Gooey, Gross Adventure, Aug. 1-4, 9 a.m.-noon, grades 1 and 2
