The second annual Garden Tour in the Avenues and Federal Heights will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Master gardeners will be on hand to offer "sage" advice. Participants are sure to take home many new ideas to enhance their own backyard paradise.
Twelve beautiful Avenues gardens will be featured. Tickets are $15 per person, and kids under 11 are free. Purchase tickets online at www.mentors4women.org or at the tour headquarters, which will be located on the lawn of the Masonic temple, 650 E. South Temple. Tickets also available at Cactus & Tropicals, Cucina Deli, Tuscan Garden Works, Western Garden Centers and Park City Nursery.
Proceeds benefit training and mentoring services that help low-income single mothers achieve their full potential in the workforce.
