The Kostopulos Dream Foundation will kick off its 40th residential summer camp with a family fun day Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. at 2500 Emigration Canyon.
Activities will include a climbing wall, rope courses, swimming, horseback riding and fishing.
Camp Kostopulos will play host to 450 individuals and their families over 11 weeks. Each week focuses of campers with a different disability, special medical need or age. Camp Kostopulos provides opportunities for them to participate in the same activities as their non-disabled peers.
"Every person, regardless of their ability, should be able to experience all the fun and recreation of life," said Gary Ethington, executive director.
